The frame and the chassis are made of hot-dip galvanised steel, giving the sandwich box trailer a long service life. The floor of the sandwich box trailer is special wood held in place with multiple layers of water-resistant glue and coated in a non-slip phenolic resin. This trailer is constructed from 30-mm-thick sandwich panels, each comprising a polyurethane foam core with an outer layer made of galvanised and polyester-coated sheet steel on each side of the panel. The bezels on the sandwich box trailer are made of anodised aluminium, as are the warp-resistant rear portal and the rear rain channel.

The cooling trailers in the HGK Deluxe series offer everything you need to safely transport chilled goods: The cooling cell is constructed from 60-mm-thick PurFerro sandwich panels consisting of a polyurethane foam core with outer layers made of galvanised and powder-coated sheet steel. The 65-mm-thick insulated floor does not allow any of the cold to escape downwards. The cooling unit is from the well-known Govi brand and allows a temperature in the cooling trailer from +2°C to +10°C up to a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C.

The cooling units accommodate temperatures between +10 degrees and -20 degrees. To ensure the cold temperatures remain securely in the refrigeration compartment, we have equipped the freezer box with ample insulation. The floor has an 80-mm-thick hard foam core. The walls are just as thick and coated with sheet steel on both sides, with an additional, PVC layer on the inner side. These features make the TK ideally suited for transporting food-in strict compliance with food law. The fittings and hinges on this model are made of stainless steel.
